Glendale High School PTSA (established 1913) is part of National PTA, the oldest (founded 1897) and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth!

Mission Statement
The purpose of GHS PTSA is to advocate for Glendale High School students and to improve their educational opportunities.

Purpose of PTSA:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community
- To secure laws for the care and protection of children and youth
- To consistently strive to improve the relationship between the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

Mission statement of the California State PTA (founded 1902)-
To represent our members and to empower and support them with skills in advocacy, leadership and communication to positively impact the lives of all children. Adopted by the California State PTA Board of Managers, March 1999.
